Jinsai Himegoto

Name: Jinsai Himegoto

Height: 6'2"

Weight: 233 lbs.

Age: 24

Hometown/Nation: Shutoken, Tokyo, Japan

Theme Music: "Fungeki" by Mabataki

Alignment: Face

Appearance:

While by no means a giant, not many would argue that Jinsai Himegoto is relatively large for a Japanese wrestler. Standing at 6'2" and weighing in at approximately 235 pounds, Jinsai has an impressive physique, which also tends to awe most of his peers. However, Jinsai's muscle mass comes second to his incredible overall conditioning. It is believed that Himegoto dedicates more time in training than he does to any other activity; and it shows.

Jinsai, like many Japanese wrestlers, wrestles in a mask. It has been said that the reason for the mask is to hide his uncharacteristic round eyes, but the mask is most likely just cosmetic. The shape of the mask allows some of his short dark hair to leak out, which complements his always-intense thick mouth.

Ring Attire:

Himegoto likes to show off his upper body physique, and thus prefers not to wear a shirt in the ring. He does, however, wear black elbow pads for protection. As stated above, Jinsai also wrestles in a mask. The mask, seemingly tight around the base, is red, with black lining, and matches the rest of his attire which consists of long red stretch pants, also with black detailing, and the traditional wrestling boots.

Note that from time to time Jinsai will alter his color scheme, but the trademark attire he wrestles in is always in the same design. NWCJ fans never have to look twice to identify him.

Description of the Wrestler's Personality, Behavior, and Attitude:

Jinsai Himegoto is more than what meets the eye. He doesn't like to talk much, but on the same token is never at a loss for words when the situation presents itself. Notwithstanding, Jinsai still is most dangerous in the ring. Although his fuse has burnt on more than one occasion, he realizes that he is most dangerous when he keeps his focus and mysterious mannerisms in tact, and for that reason, tries to keep his interaction with the media low profile.

Like a Western wrestler, however, Himegoto's success relies heavily on crowd reaction. One of his trademarks is connecting with one huge innovative maneuver after another, each one successively increasing in impact as the crowd successively grows louder. Jinsai enjoys nothing more than a favorable crowd response, and knows how to work the crowd well with his offense.

Outside the ring, Jinsai tries to keep his business private, however he is definitely not naive, and will never think twice before letting anyone know how he feels about something, especially if tempted. Once you cross him, do not expect to get away without a good fight - on both the physical and verbal fronts.

Background Information on Wrestler:

Not much is known about Jinsai Himegoto, as he tries to maintain a mysterious air about himself to gain a psychological edge over his opponents. It is known that he has more than a few years of experience in professional wrestling. Different sources, however, will provide you with different information as to the depths of this experience. Himegoto himself never cares to comment about the issue, claiming that the present is all that really matters.

Titles Held: Unknown

Three Strengths/Talents of the wrestler:

1) Size/strength - Jinsai Himegoto, at 6'2" and almost 235 pounds, is considered big for a Japanese wrestler, and rest assuredly the source of this girth comes from muscle tone. His strength and leverage advantage over most of his opponents allows him to execute high-impact moves with extremely dangerous force.

2) Conditioning - Jinsai is perhaps more conditioned as he is strong. This allows him to execute moves with the impact of big wrestlers, but at the same time be able to endure perhaps an equal amount of punishment from his opponent. Himegoto also has an extremely effective aerial assault for a primarily technical wrestler.

3) Mystique - Himegoto keeps a low profile, and this gives him the all-important psychological edge over his opponents. While never at a loss for words when the situation presents itself, if given a choice, Jinsai prefers to stay quiet and do his talking in the ring. Not much is known about his past, but almost everyone knows that he will be a force to be reckoned with in the future.

Three Weaknesses/Flaws of the wrestler:

1) Crowd Reliability - It sometimes seems as if the source of Himegoto's power is coming from the cheers of the crowd. When the crowd isn't there, neither is he. Jinsai relies on an active crowd to perform at optimum levels.

2) Stubbornness - Once Jinsai sets his mind on something, he will not stop trying to accomplish whatever he is trying to accomplish until it is accomplished. Unfortunately, sometimes what he wants is not in reach, and thus his life and consequentially his career become unmanageable.

3) Short Fuse - While most of the time, Jinsai is the one playing mind games with you, it is well-documented that the way to throw him off his game is to get under his skin, as Himegoto's rather short fuse can cause him to lose focus.

Finishing Maneuvers:

-Shintou Driver: A Double-Underhook Piledriver fully elevated and suspended, then dropped into a Sitdown Face Buster.

-Insei Kawazu: A Shooting Star Press into a Frog Splash.

-Jumangi: Ipponzei turned into a Jujigatame submission simultaneous to the collision with the canvas.

Setup Maneuver: Fisherman Suplex into Kneeling Tiger Driver '91.

Signature Maneuvers:

-Burning Hammer: Inverted Death Valley Driver/Bomb.

-Iconoclasm: Opponent while on the turnbuckle in Reverse Crucifix Powerbomb position turned over into Inverted X-Factor.

-Dangerous DDT: Sometimes done more as a regular brainbuster, other times leaping off the ground before spiking opponent.

-Hangman's Neckbreaker variations: Leaping, Guardrail, & Standard.

-Swift Belly-to-Belly Suplex after opponent rebounds off ropes.

-Blue Thunder Powerbomb: Belly-to-Back Suplex into Sitdown Powerbomb.

-Emerald Frosion: Opponent picked up for a body slam, then draped over one of Jinsai's shoulders before dropping to the mat with an MD2 variation.

-Wakigatme Armbar: Fujiwara Armbar submission.

-Rolling Inverted STF: Inverted Stepover Toehold Facelock applied before rolling into the hold, elevating the opponent off the canvas thus applying more pressure.

-Firebird Splash: Known as the 450 Splash in the United States.
