T-Rex Reich

Wrestler: "T-Rex" Reich

Height: 5'9"

Weight: 285 lbs.

Hometown: Nashua, NH

Age: 32

Alignment: Tweener

Music: "Angry Again" by Megadeth

Physical Dexcription: T-Rex is extremely musclebound. In fact, because of his short stature, he looks almost TOO musclebound. His arm and leg muscles are a little too big for his body, and his torso has too much bulk for true definition. He is lightly tanned, has no facial hair, and closely shaved black hair around the sides of his head (indicating he has lost most of his hair).

Ring Attire: He wears olive green combat pants, black military boots, and goes without shirt or elbow pads. The ends of each fingertip and both his wrists are wrapped in black tape. He also wears black greasepaint under each eye (like baseball and football players wear to cut down on the sun's glare).

Personality/Attitude: T-Rex Reich is in professional wrestling STRICTLY for the money. Considering himself a real fighter, he finds the whole "show business" aspect of it ridiculous. It takes a lot of needling of the people backstage to get him to along with the sideshow antics that most of his wrestling "brethren" cherish. To him, wrestling is simply a way to use his talents in submission combat to keep his head above water.

Background: T-Rex grew up fairly normally to a good, solid set of parents. His father was a machinist, and taught Thomas (T-Rex), the value of strength, conditioning, and working for your money. T-Rex studied many forms of martial arts growing up, and this taught him about discipline and keeping yourself in control. Out of high school he joined the U.S. Army as an infantryman, and spent six years perfecting his had-to-hand combat style. After his discharge, he spent several years on various underground ultimate fighting circuits, using his martial arts and combat training to earn a living. However, the lack of financial stability in this "club fighting", plus mounting bills for the nursing home his parents needed to be put into, caused him to seek out a new source of income.

He was recruited by Kassandra Fairchild into Georgia Championship Wrestling, in an effort to bring back some true fighting to the fed. However, his "shoot style" rubbed several front office people the wrong way, and when Ms. Fairchild was replaced by Madison Justice, it was requested that T-Rex take acting classes at a local community college to get more into the "spirit" of what professional wrestling was about. He lasted about three weeks before being contacted by new Golden State Wrestling President Anton MacTavish, to come in as the fed's "muscle", to keep all of the guys in line. With the knowledge that the fed would soon be moving to New England (thereby bringing him back home near his parents), he readily agreed.

This changed however when his parents became suddenly very ill. He was given permission to return to Nashua, despite being in the middle of an important angle, right after the August 22nd Rage!! card. He made it back home just in time to see both his parents before they each passed on, within 48 hours of each other. The loss of his parents sent Thomas into a slight depression, because everything he was doing was for them. With nothing to "work" for anymore, he didn't really know what to do. He returned to California after finishing up all the arrangements for his parents estate. In talking with MacTavish, whom he now considered a close friend, about his future, MacTavish recommended he go to Japan for a while. In Japan, it is the matches themselves which are admired and appreciated, and very little emphasis is placed on microphone skills and "acting out" different bits. With the rumors that the NWC was thinking about forming an affiliated fed in Japan, Reich inquired about it, and then put in an application.

Current/Previous Titles: NONE

Three Strengths/Talents of the wrestler:

1) Submissionist - Knows more about REAL submission (shoot) fighting than practically all other wrestlers, and can catch and tie up his opponents relatively easily.

2) Calculating - There are no wasted moves or energy in the attempt to be "flashy". He goes into the ring, puts on a brilliant technical display, and wins if he can, loses if he has to.

3) Endurance - His work in real club fighting has allowed him to build up quite a resistance to submission pain. He will never tap out from a submission move, and he prides himself on that fact. He will fall unconscious before "tapping out", or else will voluntarily eat the pin if he's scheduled to lose.

Three Weaknesses/Flaws of the wrestler:

1) Absolutely NO aerial ability: His short, stocky stature does not allow him to leave his feet with any degree of skill, so he chooses not to. He will never climb the turnbuckles, attempt dropkicks, and the like. The only time his feet would ever lift more than six inches off the ground is if he was lifted up by somebody else.

2) Irritated: Can't stand the circus antics that most of the wrestlers get into and flourish in. He will get quite annoyed by useless showboating and playing to the crowd, and it can bother him to the point of affecting his abilities in the ring.

3) Too honest about the business: He cares so little about the "performance" of pro wrestling, that he sees no real reason to keep kayfabe, and breaks it quite frequently. This angers many of his opponents backstage, and they tend to be a lot more stiff with him, in retaliation.

Finishing Maneuver: THE GRIMLOCK

Front Facelock slapped on in the center of the ring. T-Rex squeezes until all blood drains from the opponent's head. The ref will raise the arm once, twice, and before he raises it for the third time (when most opponents would normally "pump up" to get out of it), T-Rex drops the opponent into a d.d.t. while still holding the front facelock. The ref will now raise the arm of the now (hopefully) knocked-out wrestler, and drop it for the third time for the knock-out win.

Set-Up Maneuver: NONE

Signature/Favorite Maneuvers:

1. drop toe hold
2. snap mare
3. reverse chin lock
4. face claw
5. knee drop to head
6. inverted atomic drop
7. camel clutch
8. full nelson
9. hangman neckbreaker
10. inverted piledriver
