Frazer Fury

Name: "Hiretsukan" Frazer Fury

Height: 6'1"

Weight: 237 lbs.

Age: 23

Hometown/Nation: San Diego, California, United States of Suck

Theme Music: "Serpent Boy" by (hed) p.e.

Alignment: Bastard

Appearance: Frazer is nicely built, no rippling muscles or anything, more along the lines of an oversised junior-heavyweight(Chris Jericho, but a bit larger). His hair is a shiny caramel blonde color, and is of about medium length, coming down to around the top of his ears. No scars of note, no tattoos, body hair, facial hair, whatever. His eyes are intense, cerulean blue(no murky orbs for him). Rather handsome, but doesn't tend to make note of it(not the overdone "cocky heel" type).

Ring Attire: It's changed a lot over the years(Frazer's an old character, over three years I believe, and closing in on four). When he first started, it was blue/black with a bbit of yellow full-length tights and yellow kickpads over black boots. He's not used this in years, though. Since he's used all sorts of other designs, and only one other which stayed pretty consistent.

This was his orange/silver/black Zokugun Sangai get-up, and he may still use that from time to time.

However, he's using a new look forthe time being. Here it is:

Full-length black tights in a sort of Masa Chono meets Lance Storm design. Think Lance Storm's two color design, but using Chono's black on black color scheme, where one of the colors would just be black and the other would be a shiny black. The tights also have a medium-thickness waistband that is the shiny black color, with "ZOKUGUN SANGAI" in very thin silver letters wrapping around the waistband. Shiny black kickpads that wrap around the entirety of Frazer's leg and smallish black kneepads complete the scheme, and Frazer wears black wrestling shoes underneath. On the left side of the kickpads in shiny silver letters the word "BIBO" is written vertically. On the right, "FURY". Frazer has somewhat strange looking armpad type things, I suppose they'd be called arm sleeves. They extend from the top of the wrist to the middle of his upper arm, and on the right sleeve in elongated and snaking silver/shiny black the number "656".

Description of the Wrestler's Personality, Behavior, and Attitude: At the moment, he's gone full-tilt dick. Ordinarily he's got this bizarre aspect to him, but right now he's more into trying to kill people, both with words and moves.

Background Information on Wrestler: Frazer was born into a fairly upper-class family and his childhood was more or less normal. He began studying the martial arts at only twelve years of age, and has since dabbled in all sorts of martial arts. The one that he has studied longest and is most adept at, howeverm is taekwondo. A high school football stand-out who played both quarterback on offense and cornerback on defense, Frazer was scouted by many colleges both for his 3.0-and-not-trying-all-that-hard GPA and football ability. USC, San Diego State, Fresno State, Oregon, Washington State, UCLA, Nevada, Miami(FL), and Michigan were just some of the schools after him.

Fury went with UCLA, where he did quite well as a quarterback, and was a starter by his junior year. Frazer was never a Heisman candidate or anything of the sort, but he was definitely above-average He majored in Psychology and did well enough academically.

As his time in college came to a close, Frazer had several options. He had a couple of "regular" job offers, the option to continue his studies, and the option to pursue football and enter himself into the NFL Draft.

Frazer would definitely be drafted if he went into the draft, however it was unlikely that he would be picked higher than late second round and more likely that he'd go third or fourth round.

With little time left to decide, Frazer recieved a strange offer. Through a relative of a friend, oddly enough, he got the offer to become a professional wrestler in a small Colorado based independent fed. Fury had always been interested in pro wrestling, particularly the Japanese and Mexican varieties. He'd become quite the avid puroresu and lucha libre tape collector in college, but had never really considered the occupation of professional wrestler.

Frazer accepted the offer, and took several months off of life, basically, to train. He bulked up about ten pounds of muscle, made sure his martial arts skills were still intact, and went about the unenviable task of learning to take bumps and execute moves. Initially Frazer signed up with a trainer and allowed him to teach, but Frazer became very unhappy, as the teacher knew nothing beyond American Pro Style and basics. This would not work.

So Frazer went it alone. He gathered up a small group of his more courageous friends and allowed them to kill him with poorly executed moves, all the while doing it right back to them. And though this was risky, for obvious reasons, it worked.

Frazer was ready. He entered the independent scene, and for about two years, was an indy star. He won all sorts of titles and moved on up the wrestling food chain. The opportunity to join larger American organizations presented itself, but another offer intrigued Frazer much, much more.

Japan.

He's since been in two Japanese feds: PJW(Pro Japan Wrestling) and Gunryo Pro. In PJW Frazer met Kashan Akuma and became a bitter enemy of the beloved Banshee. The seeds for a massive puroresu feud were sown here. Frazer actually got fired from PJW due to problems with management and behind-the-scenes heat. Bitter, Fury signed with the new G-Pro, and immediately blew up. PJW friend Kashan Akuma and he formed groundbreaking group Zokugun Sangai here, and ZS would grow into arguably the most over and well-known puroresu group ever.

Frazer contacted Gunryo Pro's Kabuki Master around this time. Kabuki Master was in the Hiryuu Batsu group at the time, along with Banshee and Ozeki Shumasita. He was also in the midst of a nasty feud with Daimyo member Kabuki Kid over the Kabuki moniker. Fury and Kabuki Master worked out an agreement. The young but already showing loads of promise Kabuki Master would put on a mask and join Zokugun Sangai, changing his name to TORA Wanizame. But he'd keep on wrestling as Kabuki Master...

The team of TORA, Kashan Akuma, and Frazer tore the trios ranks up. They zipped through the G-Pro Trios Title tournament and walked away with the Trios belts at G-Pro's mini supercard. Frazer and Akuma had worked their way through the Heavyweight and Super-Middleweight Tournaments, respectively, and each had reached the finals.

At the inaugural Gunryo Pro supercard, G-Pro Blast-Off, a number of remarkable things happened for Zokugun Sangai. In chronological order: Kashan Akuma defeated Banshee for the Super-Middleweight Title, Frazer Fury took out Jason Storm to win the G-Pro Asia-Pacific Heavyweight Title, and Kabuki Master swerved Hiryuu Batsu and went Zokugun Sangai as TORA Wanizame.

It was around this time that Frazer made his EMWC debut as well, though he did not wrestle.

Almost immediately thereafter, Frazer Fury fell off the face of the earth. Nobody's sure where he went or why he went there, but he was gone. The G-Pro Asia-Pacific Title was vacated. Zokugun Sangai carried on, eventually adding "Veritable Pop-Tart" Takuya Nobu to their ranks. Over time, G-Pro closed.

But Frazer came back. Upon his return, he re-joined EMWC and a reborn Gunryo Pro. TORA, Kashan, Takuya, and Frazer became Zokugun Sangai. There were internal conflicts with this, however.

Frazer and Akuma never seemed to get along the same. Takuya Nobu seemed to resent Fury, somewhat. If anything, however, Fury and Wanizame's ties only grew stronger.

Zokugun Sangai was, again, hugely successful. Frazer won the Gunryo Pro Triple Crown and TORA held the Super-Middleweight Title. But things were never quite the same and G-Pro would fold after a decently lengthy run.

Following the closure of G-Pro, Frazer contemplated an all-too-early retirement, among other possibilities. He'd already quit EMWC due to behind-the-scenes problems in that he felt the promotion wasn't allowing him to showcase his full ability. Though he was unhappy with his situation there, Frazer left the EMWC on amiable terms and there are no real hostilities there.

Titles Held: Dozens of smaller feds' titles(legitimate, but listing the feds would be pointless and I don't remember half of them, so... :), Gunryo Pro Asia-Pacific Heavyweight Title/Gunryo Pro Triple Crown Title(Twice), Gunryo Pro Trios Titles... There's been a bunch, basically.

Three Strengths/Talents of the wrestler:

1) Workrate - If workrate were a bodily fluid, Frazer's pores would be bursting.

2) Notorious - Frazer is well-known, he knows he's well known, and he doesn't have a problem exploiting that.

3) Intelligence - Fury wrestles smart and he's a smart guy outside of the ring, as well. This may not always show, but when it doesn't, he's usually just being odd anyway. The bizarre aspect of his personality isn't exactly at the forefront right now, however.

Three Weaknesses/Flaws of the wrestler:

1) Ring Style - If a wrestler can't take really stiff bumps and take them well, they're likely to get hurt legitimately by Fury. Obviously, this doesn't make people who're unable to work his style and newer wrestlers particularly happy, so they'll work stiff on him, too.

2) Submission - Frazer isn't particularly good at working submission style. He's not absolutely horrible, but he's definitely not fond of it and has trouble working with people who rely heavily on it.

3) Enemies - Frazer makes a lot of them. A _lot_. The numbers tend to go against him.

Finishing Maneuvers:

Frazer has used about 15 finishers over time. Lately, it seemed as though the number was getting ridiculous(at the highest count, he was using 12 finishers at the same time). He's since cut out some of the outdated or non-essential ones, either dropping the move or making it a signature maneuver that might end the match as opposed to a finisher. He still has more finishers than he probably needs, but it's been cut down.

1. FD2K(FrazerDriver 2000) - Unprotected Spinning K-Driller. Frazer either lifts his opponent tilt-a-whirl style or tombstone style, jumps, spins, and drops them straight on their head outside of his legs as opposed to in between them. The most, "Oh damn, he's dead!" version of this is one of the ones Frazer likes to use most often. It starts out with a double underhook. Frazer lifts his opponent almost like he's gonna do a Tiger Driver '91. He quickly spins to his left, however, grabbing ahold of his opponent as best he can and dropping down/spinning into an even more unprotected version of the move.

2. FrazerDriver '99 - Only ever been used one time... It starts out as an Argentine Backbreaker(Torture Rack). Frazer then swings his opponent around and drops them straight on their head in a brutal spinning Backdrop Driver.

3. FrazerDriver '98 - A bit like a swinging Michinoku Driver out of a Death Valley Driver set-up. Fairly complicated and easily messed up by a poor worker, but Frazer tends to hit it.

4. Hurricane Fury Crusher - Frazer holds his opponent almost as though he is going to execute an inverted DDT. He then runs to the ropes, twisting a bit, springboards himself off, spins, and absolutely destroys his opponent with a tumbling Ace Crusher out of it.

5. Zokugun Bomb - Belly-to-Back Suplex lift turned nasty jumping Lygerbomb.

6. Zokugun Bomb 2 - Powerbomb lift rolled through into a high-velocity Ace Crusher.

Setup Maneuver: Nothing in particular for any of them.

Signature Maneuvers:

1. Juuki Kicks - Run up the opponent's chest and backflip off, side thrust kick, six successive kicks all along the knees, sides, and head from the left/right sides, two hwarangdo style spin kicks, climb to the second rope, kick opponent in the back of the head, flying kouppo abise giri to the back of the head as they stumble out. The opponent is basically rendered dead if he can get the entire series off, and in that instance, it's used as a finisher.

2. Pacific Breaker Wave - A little bit like the Rock Bottom, a slightly elevated and quickly delivered Uranage, but more like a leg sweep. Makes for a good quickie finisher if one is needed.

3. Zokugun Bomb 3(Z-Bomb 3) - A Dragon Suplex lift into a spinning Ligerbomb.

4. Cherry Twist - Frazer sets the opponent up for a high-angle Boston Crab, except he twists the opponent's legs around one another. He then splays the opponent's arms out, grabs ahold of the opponent's legs, turns and rolls while holding the opponent's arms with his legs, twists, and winds up having the opponent in an extremely painful surfboard hold.

5. FrazerDriver '97 - Regular Death Valley Bomb/Driver, can still occasionally win a match.. This is more likely when executed from somewhere strange or onto something...

6. Blue Star Driver - A two-handed Nodowa(chokeslam) lift into a high-impact Ligerbomb. Like a cross between a Miracle Ecstacy and a Jumping Rydeen Bomb.

7. Kouppo Abise Giri - Rolling Heel Kick, used by Lyger among others. Frazer's variation is pretty in addition to being harsh.

8. Pyramid Driver - A Straightjacket Powerbomb, in which the opponents' arms are crossed prior to the powerbomb.

9. Very extended standing side kick. Sort of like a superkick, but it's different and tends to catch people in the head rather than the chin.
