Jim Gamias Statement

NWC-J Fans,

Last weekend, at the JR Yokosuka Line Shinkawa Peninsula Station Kokura Overpass Lower Plaza, an event occurred that I am not particularly proud of. Following a tremendous 20 minute time limit draw between Frazer Fury and El Chico Azteko, what can only be described as utter mayhem broke out. A brawl between the likes of those two participants and TORA Wanizame, Noriyaki Tanaka, "T-Rex" Reich, Zulu Dragon, Jinsai Himegoto and Ikusa Tatsujin broke out. Parts of the NWC-J ringside structure, and the venue itself, were destroyed at the event.

When I decided to go ahead with this venture, I promised the people of Japan this sort of thing would not happen. I promised the ills of western wrestling would not plague this federation. I stand firm in that, still.

As many members of the media have pointed out, my hands are in many ways tied. These eight men are perhaps cornerstones of the promotion, and with the tremendous rumble coming in only two weeks, it would be suicidal to suspend them. This is true. So I will not. Instead.... I have no choice but to book the very first JISATSU rules match. If these men want to kill one another, they may do so in a sanctioned bout.

That is why, next weekend, live from Ueda Citizen Gym in Nagano, the main event will be a No Ropes Barbed Wire Golden Net Barricade Eight Man Tornado Tag Death Match. The teams will be Frazer Fury, TORA Wanizame, Zulu Dragon and Ikusa Tatsujin opposing Jinsai Himegoto, Noriyaki Tanaka, "T-Rex" Reich and El Chico Azteko.

The rules of this match are relatively simple.

The ropes will be removed from the ring. In their place, on opposing sides, will be barbed wire ropes. On the other two opposing sides, on the ring floor, will be boards placed facing the ring at 45 degree angles. These boards will be wrapped in barbed wire. Consistent with tornado tag rules, all eight men will be battling at once. The first pinfall decides the match.

Many people have asked me to comment regarding the likelyhood that this match could have a negative effect on these men's odds of advancing in the ALL-ASIAN CROWN MAXIMUM ELEMENTAL SUPER RUMBLE-TOURNAMENT. Ask me if I care.

I only hope that with this, a semblance of order will be restored. I thank you.

Jim Gamias
